![]() ![]() ![]() Unfortunately for me I have NAT Type D (strict) and due to my crappy ISP and the only way to get around it is port forwarding or setting it up as a DMZ.įirstly, I have my xbox in DMZ so I would need to change it each time I play a different console as I can only set one device at a time in DMZ. ![]() Also I bought an Ethernet only router (the wireless one in the shop was stupid expensive) so I need to figure out this adapter thing. As always, any advice or help is very much appreciated. IF anyone has any info on network adapters it would help, both the ones I have are 2.0 third party which according to some posts should work. Hopefully this adapter issue is an easy fix (hard reset the console, delete wifi settings or something along those lines) but it's not looking promising. I'm at work now so can t test anything until a few hours time, I'm so close I can almost taste that NAT type A/B. ![]() I've also seen that some people had the same problem but left it plugged in and eventually it connected automatically. Now I have a router right next to my consoles and everything seems to be working just fine except the Ethernet to USB adapter I bought! The switch will not recognize it, I bought 2 different ones because I'd seen that some may not work but one of the ones I bought has been confirmed by another redditor to work but for some reason it will not recognize it on mine. UPDATE: So after some thinking and research I came to the conclusion that the best option was to bridge my ISP modem and buy a new router, which I did. ![]()
